are looking for a Head of Procurement and Business Improvement to lead
the procurement and purchase to pay function of the University and as a
member of the Finance department's management team to lead on business
improvements across the Finance function. The procurement function is
well established in the University and has delivered over £6m savings to
the University over the last 3 years. Now we are looking for the next
step change in our strategy and approach.
You should have previous
experience of managing in a complex financial environment; you'll hold a
relevant finance or procurement qualification and be able to
demonstrate delivery of cost savings and continuous improvement in your
previous roles. You should be well organized, analytical and
self-motivated.
